I'm ready to get started - what's the next step?

The next step is a phone consultation – no obligation – to discuss your organizing projects/goals and what obstacles may be preventing you from getting or staying organized. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and see if my skills are a good fit for your situation. If helpful for my initial assessment, I may ask for photos of your space(s), for planning purposes only. If an onsite visit is needed or requested, a consultation fee may apply.

How long will it take?

A hands-on organizing session is typically 4 hours. The progress we make in a session depends on the scope of the project, the degree of organization desired, and how quickly you are comfortable making decisions about what to remove, what to keep and where to put it. Continuing the organizing process between sessions is entirely up to you; doing so can save money and keep the momentum going, but finding time to do is often an issue.

Will I have to throw things out?

Only if you choose to, based on your organizing goals. If you need it, use it, love it and have a home for it, keep it! Finding the right balance between stuff and space is key, and I’ll show you how to do that.

What should I do before my first session?
  • Don’t clean up (I need to see what normal looks like)
  • Don’t buy any containers (I prefer to reuse/repurpose what you have)
  • Don’t be embarrassed (it’s just stuff – I’ve seen it all!)
  • Be rested, fed, hydrated, and free of distractions
  • Be prepared to make decisions
What do you charge?

4 hour session $300. (additional hours billed at $ 70/hr.)

I am based in Hillsborough, NJ, and my service area includes (but is not limited to) Somerset, Hunterdon, Mercer and Middlesex counties.
